Join us for a special Kaleidoscope Dialogues event - Kieler Woche edition!
June 20th, 2:00 - 3:30 pm
Where on Earth does that come from?
A worldwide food journey
How much do we really know about the items, plants or food we see around us everyday? Where do they come from and why are they called what they are called? What does it tell us about their history?
These are some questions we never get to explore. Let’s change that!
Join us for a fun afternoon at the Seeburg, where we will go on a journey together and learn more about our everyday items. Let’s welcome the Kieler Woche festival with two short talks from an ecologist and a linguist, and a side of fun interactive activity.
On stage we'll have:
Ginevra Bellini, presenting: "Delicious yet disruptive: Unintended consequences of moving crops around"
Ariba Khan, presenting: "Wandering words: Let's travel across the globe"
Entrance is free, no need to register!
Address: Düsternbrooker Weg 2
